Hotel jako dobra baza wypadowa jak najbardziej. Posiłki serwowane przez kelnerów,trochę ubogie ale głodni nie byliśmy.Wino do obiadu i kolacji posiłku. Polecam.

Hotel jak na standardy Włoch i biednej CALBRII jest OK. Jedzenie dobre choć jak ktoś liczy na duże porcje będzie zawiedziony. Dokupiliśmy pokój z widokiem na morze warto tylko 60 euro tydzień. Pokoje skromne nieduże dobre sprzątanie. Łazienka niestety stara ale czystość na wysokim poziomie. Bardzo fajny basen. Do morze dowozi hotelarz busem. Pieszo ok 10-12 min. Miły właściciel ogólnie w hotelu panuje rodzinna atmosfera. Spokojnie polecam

Oferta Itaki dotyczyła hotelu z basenem. Basen był, ale nieczynny o czym nas nie poinformowano przy zakupie imprezy ani też przed wyjazdem. To jest obowiązek sprzedającego (Kodeks Cywilny) aby zapewnić zgodność oferty z jej wykonaniem. Basen przy hotelu nie posiadającym swojej plaży bezpośrednio przyległej do ośrodka był dla mnie kluczowym elementem jaki w ostateczności przeważył przy podejmowaniu decyzji dotyczącej wyboru tej oferty. Tłumaczenie, wersja po przyjeździe: "mamy problem techniczny". To była nieprawda. To nie był problem techniczny ale hotel nie przygotował basenu do przyjęcia gości. W trakcie naszego pobytu dopiero zaczęto niespiesznie wykonywać prace przygotowawcze, które nie zakończyły się przed naszym wyjazdem. Nie zanosiłó się też, że w kolejnym tygodniu basen będzie uruchomiony (przynajmniej od początku tygodnia). Kolejne wyjaśnie jakie otrzymalismy: "dopiero zaczynają sezon, pierwsze dni funkcjonowania..." Wprawdzie zgodne z prawdą ale szkoda, że nie poinfomowano nas przed zakupem imprezy. Powyższy fakt wpłynął znacząco na mój poziom rozczarowania tą ofertą. Doceniam fakt, że obsługa bardzo się starała mimo, że właściwie nie znali angielskego. Obsługa była uprzejma, pokoje sprzątano codzienie, serwis w restauracji profesjonalny i uprzejmy. To zdecydowanie zapiszę na plus oraz okolicę , w tym malownicze stare miato, co w pewien sposób kompensowało rozczarowanie brakiem pełnej gotowosci hotelu do sezonu. Animacji nie było, żadnych, więc i sposób ich ocenić.

Hotel położony jest na wzgórzu z którego widok na Morze czy Góry zapiera dech w piersiach. Otrzymaliśmy pokój front Sea View, więc każdego dnia o poranku i na wieczór mogliśmy zachwycać się urokami Kalabrii. Sam pokój był przestronny, czysty i zawierał bardzo wygodne łóżko (bywałam w wielu hotelach, również tych o najwyższym standardzie ale nigdzie nie potrafiłam się tak wyspać jak w tym miejscu). Łazienka jest naprawdę duża, czysta - super. Jedynie mogę wysłać sugestie by wymienić prysznice, gdyż już swoje lata mają. Sprzątnie pokoju i dostarczanie środków higienicznych było każdego dnia. Obsługa uprzejma, uśmiechnięta, wyrozumiała. Nie wszyscy mówią po angielsku ale idzie się dogadać. Pan Franco to serce tego obiektu, dbał o gości podczas posiłków na najwyższym poziomie, jego elegancja i troskliwość sprawiała, że choć czasem byłam przejedzona nie mogłam przestać jeść. Posiłki to makarony, ryby, owoce morza ale ja mięsa nie jadam w żadnej postaci i to zgłosiłam, więc dostawałam dania vege. Pyszna kawa i rogaliki o poranku. Hotel ma lata świetności za sobą ale mi w nim było najlepiej ze wszystkich i nie mogę się doczekać kiedy znów wrócę. Na koniec zaznaczę, że w hotelu znajdują się trzy tarasy a jeden z nich jest na ostatnim piętrze i rozłożony jest w taki sposób by podziwiać widoki z każdej strony, również pięknie oświetlony ogród.

Tropea and Pizzo — transfer to Tropea, considered the pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. The town is beautifully situated by a seaside cliff, it is worth visiting the charming center, the most important monuments is the St. Maria dell'Isola church and Norman cathedral. Then the road leads to Pizzo with a Castle, where tje French general Murat was imprisoned and shot. Not far from the old town there is an interesting church of Piedigrotta, built on a rock. You can also fall in love with the fabulous cliffs of Capo Vaticano. Day trip. Price - approx. 46-62 EUR.
Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius — exploring with a local tour guide the excavation sites of the ancient city, covered in volcanic ash from the year 79 AD. Pompeii was a rich port and metropolis, through which an enormous amount of goods passed, which supplied the needs of the capital. Until today the streets, houses, baths, eating houses and brothels have been preserved. Drive up to Mount Vesuvius, which beautifully dominates over the Gulf of Naples and is the most famous volcano on Europe's mainland. Opportunity to go to the area of the crater. Day trip. Price - approx. 82 EUR.
Aeolian Islands — boarding the tourist ship in Vibo Valentia. The cruise leads from Lipari, the capital of the archipelago, through Vulcano, the island closest to Sicily. In favourable weather conditions a visit to Stromboli: an island with an active volcano. Day trip. Price - approx. 66 EUR.
Reggio di Calabria and Scilla — travel to Reggio di Calabria, visiting Museo Nazionale, where the famous "Bronzi di Riace" is located: two bronze statues, attributed to Phidias. Walk along the seaside boardwalk, overlooking a view of the coast of Sicily and Mount Etna. Supposedly you can observe the mysterious phenomenon of a mirage here. Transfer to Scilla, of the ancient Scyllia, the mythical place known from "Odyssey", beautifully situated by the sea. Then drive up Monte San Elia: the "balcony of the Strait of Messina". In good weather you can see Mount Etna, Stromboli and the mountains of Aspromonte. Day trip. Price - approx. 50 EUR.
Taormina — travel to Sicily to Taormina, the ancient Taurominum. The town is situated on a hill, with a magnificent view of the sea, the majestic Etna towers over it. During free time, an opportunity to see the famous Greek-Roman theatre, the Villa Comunale - public gardens with many varieties of flowers and shrubs, corso Umberto. Day trip. Price - approx. 65 EUR.
Local excursions are organized by local travel agencies under the conditions fixed by them. It's possible to disorganize trips due to low number of applicants.
