Hampi – depart in the early morning. Travel to Hampi with lunch break (additionally payable). Exploring the place regarded as one of the greatest monuments of the world, on the UNESCO List, being the ruins of the fallen Vijayanagara Empire scattered on a huge area. The Portuguese claimed that the city was bigger and more powerful than Rome at the time. The place covers an area of 26 km² and lies among the rocks and stones by the River Tangabhadra. Visiting, among others: the Temple of Vittali from the 13th century, the Temple of Virupaksha from the 14th century, elephant stables, Lotus Mahal and many other monuments from the 12th and 13th centuries.
