Pięknie położony hotel na niewielkiej wysepce otoczonej turkusową wodą morza karaibskiego.. Wysepka składa się z dwóch części, prywatnej hotelowej i publicznej.. W obu częściach znajdują się przepiękne plaże, z jasnym miękkim pisakiem i egzotycznymi palmami kokosowymi.. Wysepka swoją wielkością nie przytłacza, są na niej spore zadbane ogrody oraz domki, ville i główny hotel dla turystów.. Ponadto fajne baseny, restauracje tematyczne i inne atrakcje rekreacyjne.. Lokalizacja hotelu jest jego wielką zaletą (bajeczne położenie) ale i małą wadą. Transport z lotniska trwa 4 godziny! Oraz brak jest bezpośredniej opieki rezydenta (tylko telefon) oraz nie ma możliwości skorzystania z żadnych wycieczek fakultatywnych organizowanych przez biuro. Reasumując rezydenta nie ma i trzeba radzić sobie samemu. Ale wystarczy minimalna znajomość języka np. angielskiego i można sobie wszystko załatwić.. Np. wycieczki po wyspie z hotelowego organizatora. Co jest konieczne jeśli chcemy coś zobaczyć ponieważ jest to wysepka oddzielona od lądu na którą pływa się darmowym hotelowym transportem (mniej więcej co godzinę) więc nie ma żadnych atrakcji w okolicy hotelu. (al inclusive nie zbędny :)) Pokój ładny ale z lekkimi mankamentami. Niestety wybierając ofertę z polskiego biura (najtańsze pokoje) nie można oczekiwać apartamentu i super lokalizacji. Na początku dostaliśmy gdzieś na uboczu przy agregatach klimatyzacyjnych (co było nie do przyjęcia) ale po zwyczajnej prośbie w recepcji natychmiast pokazano nam inne pokoje w tej kategorii i dobraliśmy sobie całkiem przytulny pokój nawet z widokiem na morze! Ogólnie mają tam przepiękne apartamenty (znajomi z Francji mieszkali w takim) z super widokami ale wymagają one sporej dopłaty. Itaka takich nie oferuje. Pokoje sprzątane codziennie. Ręczniki wymieniano rano ale również wieczorem chodziła obsługa i pytała czy wszystko jest ok i czy może ręcznik mi się już nie zabrudził to da mi świeży i pachnący :) Oczywiście w pokoju darmowe wi-fi w cenie i działające. Obsługa w hotelu na najwyższym poziomie. Wszyscy są bardzo mili, uprzejmi i cały czas się uśmiechają (szczerze). Co i udziela się wszystkim turystom powodując bardzo sielską i przyjazną atmosferę. Wyżywienie również bez zarzutu. Ogromny wybór potraw w restauracji głównej. Tematyczne wieczory, cooking show, na pewno każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Np. wybór owoców morza i ich jakość powalające. Ponadto sporo potraw rzadko spotykanych (żabie udka z ciekawości trzeba było spróbować :)) Poza restauracją główną również tematyczne. Tam już bardzo ekskluzywnie, dania z karty, osobny kelner do każdego stolika itd. Można było sobie zarezerwować dowolną ilość kolacji w dowolnej restauracji. Jakość napojów w barach również bardzo wysoka. Super drinki oraz alkohole świata w cenie! (np. Finlandia czy Jack Daniels). Poza tym w ciągu dnia można było sobie wziąć idąc na plażę dowolny napój czy piwko w butelce lub puszce.. Room service w cenie! O każdej porze dnia i nocy, na telefon można zamówić było sobie, dosłownie wszystko (karta dań i napojów była w pokoju). Np. wyjeżdżając rano na wycieczkę na 7 rano śniadanko do pokoju.. Bajka :) Byliśmy tam na przełomie listopada i grudnia.. Pogoda dopisywała.. Kilka razy padało (głównie w nocy) ale deszcz zupełnie nie przeszkadza, pada krótko a po chwili nie ma śladu i znów świeci piękne słońce.. Na basenach wręcz pustki, sporo wolnych leżaków o każdej porze ale to nic dziwnego bo kto by leżał nad basenem jak jest dostępna tak rajska plaża gdzie już sporo turystów ale zawsze można było znaleźć sobie miejsce. Na prywatnej plaży serwis w cenie na publicznej płatny. Reasumując naprawdę ciekawe miejsce. I jeśli ktoś jest wstanie poradzić sobie z małymi minusami które tu występują na pewno nie pożałuje wyjazdu do Cayo Levantado.. Polecam ten mały raj na ziemi! Całe wakacje poza małymi minusami na wielki plus! Pojechalibyśmy jeszcze raz.

Santo Domingo — a visit to one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean, which combines modern sophistication with centuries-old charm. In the programme: The caves of Tres Ojos in the centre of the city, Zona Colonial - the first brick settlement in the New World, Cathedral Santa Maria la Menor, Calle Las Damas, the National Pantheon, Alcázar de Colon, a stroll through the famous El Conde street (free time), Faro a Colon.
