The route includes the famous Arenal volcano, impressive nature reserves and hot spring baths. A great complement to the trip will be a holiday on the Playa Tambor beach off the coast of the Pacific. Route in Costa Rica: approx. 850 km plus ferry crossing.

1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to San José - the capital of Costa Rica. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, overnight.
2. DAY NATIONAL PARK OF THE IRAZU VOLCANO - CARTAGO - SAN JOSÉ (route approx. 90 km) Breakfast. Transfer to the IRAZÚ NATIONAL PARK - the highest volcano in Costa Rica and one of the most active. In one of the craters you can admire the emerald lake and in favorable weather from its summit you can see the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Lunch. Transfer to CARTAGO, the former capital of the country, which in the past was damaged by recurring volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, the religious center of the country dedicated to the patron saint of Costa Rica. Transfer to SAN JOSÉ - the bustling, modern capital of Costa Rica. Panoramic ride through the city: Plaza de la Cultura - the heart of the city, the imposing edifice of the National Theater, Central Park - the largest park in San José. Free time to go shopping at the city's main market, which has been in operation since 1881. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. DOKA COFFEE PLANTATION - LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENS (route approx. 130 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Drive to the DOKA PLANTATION (Doka Estate), which has a tradition dating back to 1931. An excellent opportunity to learn about the path the grain travels before it reaches the cup. The opportunity to learn about the cultivation methods and techniques of brewing coffee. In the plantation, you can also admire the historic water mill. Lunch. Transfer to the LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENS, this is a nature park where, in addition to waterfalls, you can also admire wild animals and lush tropical vegetation. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, overnight.
4. DAY. CAÑO NEGRO NATURE RESERVE - ARENAL NATIONAL PARK - LA FORTUNA (route approx. 190 km) Breakfast. Transfer to the NEGRO NATURE RESERVE. A boat trip with bird watching. The reserve is also home to many unusual animals that can be seen on the banks of the river. Transfer to the ARENAL NATIONAL VOLCANO PARK. A walk through the park is an opportunity to admire both the views of the volcanic cone and the landscape on which the volcano's activity has left its mark. The park is distinguished by the richness of fauna, it is a habitat of such animals as sloths, howlers, capuchins and anteaters. If you are lucky, you will be able to meet the wild inhabitants of the park. Transfer to LA FORTUNA, a town located at the foot of the Arenal volcano, in the vicinity of which there are numerous hot springs. Time for relaxation and swimming in thermal pools, the water of which is naturally heated by the volcano. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
5. DAY MONTEVERDE MISTER RESERVE - BOSQUE ETERNO DE LOS NIÑOS NATURE RESERVE (route approx. 150 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the MONTEVERDE MISTER FOREST RESERVE. Foggy forests, also known as cloud forests, constitute only 1% of all forests in the world. This misty virgin forest is rich in exotic plants and a refuge for numerous wild creatures and over 400 species of birds, including the quetzal. A walk around the BOSQUE ETERNO DE LOS NIÑOS NATURE RESERVE (the Eternal Forest of Children), it is a nature refuge, which was created as an initiative of students who wanted to save a fragment of the rainforest. Lunch. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, overnight.
6. DAY MONTEVERDE MISTER RESERVE Breakfast. Free time or, optionally (for an additional fee on site), a selection of trips in the treetops, both for people who want to observe nature and those who like to feel the adrenaline. 1) Monteverde by night - a unique opportunity to observe animals. Many animals in Costa Rica lead nocturnal lives and are more likely to be seen at night. 2) Canopy Tour - a visit to the park in the treetops, observation of the surrounding nature while moving by zip-line between the platforms. 3) Selvatura Park - a route leading through hanging bridges, in the treetops over the primeval misty forest. 4) Sky Tram - a ride on a gondola lift called the sky tram in the treetops. Return to the hotel, overnight.
7. DAY.PLAYA TAMBOR (route approx. 190 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Drive towards PLAYA TAMBOR on the Nicoya Peninsula. Accommodation in a hotel with a beautiful garden, situated on a sandy beach. The all incusive formula applies from lunch on. Free time to rest. Overnight.
8. DAY. PLAYA TAMBOR Breakfast. Free time to use hotel attractions and rest. The all incusive formula applies on this day. Overnight.
9. DAY. SARCHÍ (route approx. 100 km plus ferry crossing approx. 1 h) Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the ferry port. Crossing from Paquera to Puntarenas. Drive towards San José. On the way, a stop by the lagoon and for those willing (for an additional fee on site) tasting of rum produced in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua. Transfer to SARCHÍ, a village famous for its handicrafts, mainly for traditional two-wheeled carts richly decorated with colorful paintings by local artisans. Transfer to the airport. Departure to Poland.
10. DAY. Arrival in Poland.
