2. DAY. BOGOTA
Breakfast. Check out. Visiting BOGOTA - a city located "2600 meters closer to the stars". The diverse capital of Colombia attracts with interesting architecture, museums, street art and local cuisine. A walk around the historic district of La Candelaria and the area around Bolivara Square, where the most important buildings of the state are located: the cathedral, the seat of Congress, Palace of Justice, the Alcaldía building (the seat of the mayor of the city). Visit the impressive Gold Museum. For those willing (free), visit the Fernand Botero Museum with the works of the famous Colombian sculptor and a rich collection of contemporary art from around the world (works including: Picasso, Miró , Degas and Moneta.) Return to the hotel for luggage and transfer to the airport. Evening flight to Pereira - a city located in the coffee area. Transfer to the colorful town of Salento. Accommodation and overnight.

3. DAY. COCORA VALLEY
Breakfast. A stroll through the streets of Salento, where the life of the Colombian province goes on at an unhurried pace. The Coffee Region, called Eje Cafetero, covers several provinces and is famous for its diverse flora and fauna. The beautiful scenery of mountainous landscapes covered with lush vegetation, the presence of exceptional coffee plantations combined with traditional architecture meant that in 2011 the area was entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Then trek to the COCORA VALLEY, which is famous for its impressive wax palms. Up to 60 m long palm trees against the background of green mountains create a fantastic, unique landscape (a peaceful trek in the valley will last about 3-7 hours). Optional (for an additional fee on site): a horse ride or a visit to the hummingbird sanctuary. Return to the place of accommodation, overnight.

4. DAY. SALENTO
Breakfast. Drive by jeeps to a local coffee plantation, where you can learn the entire process of making this drink - from harvesting to brewing. For dessert, a tasting of freshly ground, aromatic Colombian Arabica. Then, drive to the SALENTO area and walk among the lush vegetation of the rainforest and the rural countryside of the province, where the hidden Santa Rita waterfall is located. Return to the hotel in Salento, free time and overnight.

5. DAY. EL VALLE
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport. Flight from Pereira to the coast (with a change in Medellin). We're going to the Pacific! This is one of the most isolated areas in Colombia, where only small local planes arrive. Landing in the town of Bahia Solano, from where you will travel by local transport (three-wheeled tuk-tuk) to the village of EL VALLE. Accommodation near Playa El Almejal, one of the black beaches for which the Pacific coast is famous. Dark, sparkling sand, rough rocks, a lush green jungle wall and of course, spectacular sunsets - these are the views for the next few days. Accommodation and overnight at the hostel.

DAY 6. EL VALLE
Breakfast. On the last day of 2024, free time to relax on the beautiful beach of El Almejal by the Pacific or play beach volleyball. An optional (for an extra charge on site) surfing lesson. In the evening, after an organized dinner on the beach, integration with the local people in the village of EL VALLE and the opportunity to try the local drink viche (alcohol made from local herbs) in one of the local clubs. Celebrating the New Year in Colombian rhythms. Return to the hostel, overnight.

7th DAY. EL VALLE
Late breakfast. Around noon, a trip to the jungle and a boat trip through the nearby rivers (local canoe) and an opportunity to see many species of birds, tropical plants and observe the daily life of the inhabitants who live in stilt houses. The trip with a local guide will last approx. 3-4 hours. Return to the place of accommodation, overnight.

8th DAY. WATERFALL EL TIGRE
Breakfast. Going to the beach and departure in approx. 30 minutes by boat in the Pacific. Sail to the starting point of a short trek to the top of the wild El Tigre waterfall! A bath in its refreshing water is the perfect respite from the heat. Then, approx. 2 hours trekking through the jungle, along the rocky shoreline towards your accommodation. In the early afternoon, return to the beach of El Almejal. Return to the hostel, free time and overnight.

9. DAY. MEDELLIN
Breakfast, check out. Transfer to the airport to Bahia Solano and flight to MEDELLIN. The city, the capital of the Antioquia region, is famous as the City of Eternal Spring. Its mild climate and lush vegetation attract locals and tourists alike. Although until recently associated with Pablo Escobar's bridgehead, today it is considered one of the most innovative cities in Colombia. In the evening, the first opportunity to walk, taste the nightlife in this modern and multicultural city and try the regional cuisine. Accommodation and overnight at the hotel.

10th DAY OF MEDELLIN.
Breakfast. Walk around the city. Get to know a unique modern landscape that contrasts with the traditional way of life that characterizes other provinces. The bustling MEDELLIN is full of museums, restaurants, bars and clubs. Then, move on to the infamous Comuna 13 district. Slum District - formerly famous as a place of clashes between drug cartels, tries to rebuild its reputation. Comuna 13 is now full of music, dance and colorful murals to tell a new story of understanding and peace. A ride in a unique form of urban transport - "metrocable" wagons bringing residents to distant districts, located on mountain slopes. In the second part of the day, a football match with local residents is planned - COMUNA 13 vs POLONIA! Return to the hotel, overnight.

11. DAY. SAN JUAN DE PASTO
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport. Flight to SAN JUAN DE PASTO - a city that is not only picturesquely situated in the Andes between volcanoes, craters, lakes and canyons, but also has a rich history and tradition as well as a strong indigenous identity. A stay here, especially during the Negros y Blancos carnival, is a unique experience during which you can get to know Colombian culture and customs better. Hotel accommodation. An evening walk in the old town. Overnight.

12. DAY. SAN JUAN DE PASTO (CARNIVAL OF NEGROS AND BLANCOS)
Breakfast. As the rest of the world celebrates the Epiphany, Pasto comes to life in the colors and sounds of the festive ending. This is an amazing opportunity to participate in one of the most popular events in the region. Currently, Negros y Blancos is primarily a traditional disguised parade with impressive carriages carried around the streets of the city and a lot of side attractions, such as concerts, the Queen of the Carnival election, and street dancing and singing. To complete the tradition, the inhabitants shower each other with foam and flour, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Return to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 13. LAGUNA LA COCHA
Breakfast. Transfer by car (approx. 1 hour) to Puerto El Encanto from where a full-day trip begins, on the post-glacial LA COCHA LAGOON located at an altitude of approx. 2680 m above sea level. It is the second largest lake in Colombia, surrounded by green peaks and Andean meadows. Lunch in the village - the opportunity to try locally prepared trout. A boat trip on the lake to the nearby town of Santa Lucia, where there is an observation tower overlooking a spectacular landscape. Walk (approx. 1 hour) in the vicinity of Santa Lucia. Return to the hotel and overnight.

14. DAY. BOGOTA
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport. Flight to BOGOTA - the Colombian capital. Check-in at the hotel and free time. Overnight.

15. DAY. BOGOTA
Breakfast, free time for last-minute shopping and a walk around the city. Visit to the Shrine of the Fall of Jesus Christ on the hill of Monserrate. A cable car ride up this hill will provide you with amazing views of the city located in the valley. Afternoon, check-out and transfer to the airport. Departure to Poland.

We will start with Bogota - the Colombian capital, located "2600 meters closer to the stars". Then we will go to the coffee area, where we will not only taste the real Colombian, aromatic coffee, but also see the highest palm trees in the world in the Cocora Valley. Pacific, to the department of Chocó teeming with Afro-Latin culture. We will welcome the year 2025 on one of its wild rocky beaches, on the threshold of the jungle with the sound of the ocean waves. We will visit Medellin, once one of the most dangerous places in the world, today the vibrant City of Eternal Spring. we will go to the south of the country, to San Juan de Pasto, where one of the craziest and most fascinating festivals in Colombia takes place - the Negros y Blancos carnival.
