Już od pierwszych chwil hotel robi wrażenie swoim ogromem. Najpierw wejście, coś na kształt drewnianych pomostów nad wodą, a za chwilę ogromny hol i recepcja. To na początek. A później jest tylko lepiej. Kuchnia, brak słów. Różnorodność i ekspozycja potraw, przekąsek, deserów etc., świeżość, oryginalność i emanująca z każdego kącika czystość. Do piaszczystej plaży, wyjątkowo przyjemna droga przez dziedziniec, tak dziedziniec, ze względu na swoją monumentalność hotelu tej samej sieci Lopesan, Costa Meloneras. Plaża piaszczysta , u stóp wydm - wpisanych na Światową Listę Dziedzictwa UNESCO. Otoczenie hotelu, ilość basenów, zwłaszcza ten imitujący rzekę z wymuszonym nurtem, egzotyczna roślinność, czystość , wodospad, ścieżki i zakamarki, oświetlenie (!), czynią że jest to wymarzone miejsce na relaks, a wszystko uzupełnia uśmiechnięta, dyskretna obsługa.

Jestem bardzo zadowolony z pobytu. Jestem mocno wybredny co do jakości hoteli i przede wszystkim wyżywienia. Zwiedziłem już parę 5gwiadkowych hoteli, jest to pierwszy 5gwiazdkowy hotel w którym jedzenie było bardzo bardzo dobre. Same pokoje - mieliśmy akurat na parterze , bez widoku na nic ciekawego - ale pewnie lepsze pokoje na wyższych piętrach oferuje dobry widok. Sam pokój bardzo dokładnie sprzątaniu codziennie, dość wygodne łóżka, sama powierzchnia duża . Jest lodówka bez zamrażalnika- są w niej rzeczy z minibaru płatnego, ale można je wystawić poza lodówkę jeżeli chce się schować jakieś swoje napoje. Położenie hotelu - jest on drugi w lini brzegowej , więc nie bezpośrednio przy plaży - do plaży idzie się ok 8-10 minut, dla mnie nie był to problem. Dookoła hotelu wiele knajp i sklepów, niczego nie brakuje. Baseny - świetnie przygotowane baseny. My najwięcej nad basenem dla dzieci, gdzie spędzały one większość czasu. Poza tym jeden duży basen obok, oraz mniejszy z strefą „ciszy”. Poza tym ogromna „rzeka”, która opływa się w jakieś 10 min (!) wszystko świetnie zaaranżowane - bardzo przyjemnie spędzało się tam czas bo naprawdę dużo pracy włożone jest w utrzymanie wszystkiego na wysokim poziomie. Ogólnie jestem bardzo zadowolony z pobytu, i będę szukał na przyszłe wakacje hoteli z sieci Lopesan. Pobyt dla naprawdę wymagających ludzi, którzy wiedzą czego potrzebują.

Hotel Baobab zachwyca swoją architekturą i stworzonym dla gości afrykańskim klimatem .Samo wejście do hotelu robi wrażenie wow .Usłyszycie odgłosy dżungli , szum wodospadu i powiewających na wietrze liści palmowych.W każdym zakamarku hotelu znajdziecie ciekawe meble i dekoracje.Poczujecie też zapach drzewa sandałowego , z pochowanych w różnych miejscach hotelu aromatyzerów .Baobawowa kuchnia oferuje wiele wspaniałych potraw od mięsa przez ryby , owoce morza , przystawki , sałatki , desery , owoce i warzywa. Po powrocie do kraju najbardziej brakuje mi owoców mango i bananów - takich dobrych jak tam nigdy nie jadłam - w końcu te były na Gran Canarii wychodowane.Pokój trzyosobowy był wystarczająco duży , z dużą szafą i bardzo dużą ilością wieszaków , wszystkie rzeczy było gdzie pochować i powiesić .Ciekawe rozwiązanie podziału oddzielnie toalety , pomieszczenia kąpielowego i umywalki z lustrem sprawiło , że nie trzeba było czekać na wolną łazienkę.Jeśli chodzi o lokalizację hotelu to znajduje się w drugiej lini brzegowej ale spokojnie dosyć szybko dochodzi się na plażę, a z niej też blisko do wydm Maspalomas .Muszę jeszcze pochwalić baseny .Po pierwsze zawsze znajdą się jakieś wolne leżaki , po drugie basen w formie rzeki , którym w moim wolnym tempie płynie się ok 10-12 minut mijając po drodze piękną roślinność egzotycznego ogrodu- tego nie spotkałam w żadnym innym hotelu.Mogłabym tak jeszcze wymieniać co mi się podobało .Jeśli chcecie zwiedzić Gran Canarię to myślę , że ten hotel to świetny wybór.

Hotel jedyny w swoim rodzaju, wyjątkowy afrykański klimat, zapach drzewa sandałowego ( nawet kosmetyki w pokoju pachniały w tej tonacji), piękna roślinność w środku, na dziedzińcach, szumiące drzewa, odgłosy ptaków i sowy. Pewne części budynku do odświeżenia. Miłe zaskoczenie już w chwili zameldowania, mianowicie zamiast pokoju 2-os z dostawką otrzymaliśmy 2 piękne połączone apartamenty z pokojem kąpielowym w środku. Dodatkowo z uwagi, że była godzina 14.50 a meldować w hotelu można od 15 i nasz pokój nie był jeszcze gotowy, otrzymaliśmy darmowy voucher dla 3-ch osób na lunch w formie bufetu. Hotel bardzo czysty, pokoje codziennie sprzątane, ręczniki kapielowe, szlafroki, kosmetyki w pokoju. Jedynie woda mineralna codziennie uzupełniana na życzenie za opłatą. Jedzenie urozmaicone, bardzo dobre ale codziennie praktycznie to samo. Do kolacji wszystkie napoje płatne, również woda. Śniadania do godz. 10, w związku z tym duża kolejka do restauracji przed godziną 10, trzeba czekać na stolik. Jednak jedzenie donoszone praktycznie do godziny 11. Personel niezmiernie miły i pomocny, stara się spełnić każde życzenie. Usytuowanie hotelu bardzo dobre, przy sklepach i restauracjach, blisko oceanu, wydm oraz promenady nad oceanem, blisko przystanek autobusowy.

Przyznam , że mieliśmy duże oczekiwania co do hotelu , lecz pierwsze dni pokazały ,że stosunek jakości do ceny pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Na plus napewno duże pokoje, obiado kolację , obsługa hotelu oraz bujna roślinność i klimacik dżungli. Hotel figuruje jako pięciogwiazdkowy , lecz infrastruktura na zewnątrz wymaga już remontu, odpadające elementy kafli na basenie, bardzo ciepłą i mętną woda w basenach oraz bardzo słabe śniadania. Dodam jeszcze na koniec , jakie to słabe w dzisiejszych czasach kłaść ręczniki na leżakach od samego rana, przez co w sezonie letnim nie było miejsca, ale leżaki często stały puste. Ogólna ocena 3+ naciągniemy do 4. Na pewno nie wrócę , lecz proponuję wszystkim wykupienie wakacji w hotelu który znajduje się na przeciwko tej samej firmy, jeśli jedziesz z dziećmi zawsze możesz wejść do baobabu na basen i się popluskać , tego nie sprawdzają czy jesteś klientem czy nie.

Czysto schludnie, pokoje sprzątane codziennie. Wyżywienie wyjątkowo smaczne, olbrzymi wybór- każdy będzie usatysfakcjonowany. Niedaleko cudowna plaża z zapierającymi dech wydmami i pięknymi widokami. Warto i polecam pobyt w tym wspaniałym hotelu. A czy jeszcze tam wrócę... być może tak, już tęsknię .

Hotel bardzo pozytywnie mnie zaskoczył wszędzie czysto i na bieżąco sprzątane , codzienna wymiana ręczników , zapach w hotelu i cicha muzyka oraz bogata roślinność powodują że poczujesz się jak w Bajce . Piękne palmy w strefie basenowej oraz przed i w wejściu do hotelu , szum wodospadów oraz wiatru od oceanu i latające papugi powodują znowu że czujesz się jak jakieś dżungli . No i wisienką na torcie była restauracja afrykańska w strefie ogrodowo basenowej - sama konstrukcja oraz wystój stylizowany z dodatkami afrykańskimi - Wow.. Strefa basenowa jest naprawdę super rozwiązana - kilka basenów w tym dla dzieci i dorosłych osobno , jeden basen w formie płynącej rzeki - no to robi wrażenie .. no i wszędzie palmy i baobaby otaczające z każdej strony basenów a pod nimi leżaki ( dla każdego wystarczyło miejsc ..) Położenie hotelu bardzo dobre blisko na plażę nad Ocean Atlantycki gdzie można pospacerować po promenadzie i podziwiać wschody lub zachody słońca .\ ogólnie dla mnie to najlepszy hotel w jakim przyjemność być - a byłem już w kilku hotelach i to nie tanich ..

Codziennie wymienione ręczniki, posprzątany pokój, każda łazienka na terenie hotelu była w idealnej czystości. Jedzenie na najwyższym poziomie i każda restauracja i kelnerzy dbali o świetną obsługę. Baseny czyste, jedyny minus to moim zdaniem brak podgrzewanej wody, bo była dość zimna. Poza tym nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń. Duży plus za prowadzone animacje w ciągu dnia i wieczorem. Nie dało się tam nudzić
